Michaelmas Goose Cafe, Teignmouth - Revisited!
I posted a review of the lovely Michaelmas Goose Cafe on 25 May 2010, but forgot to take pictures of the cake. This was a convenient excuse to pop in there today with my kids and buy some more cake (just so I could take pictures of course). The chocolate cake (£2.85) and the chocolate brownie (£2.50) were as heavenly as usual. And the huge pot of Earl Grey for one went on for ever and ever....cafes as they should be.

HI, My name is stephey and I'm part of the FB The Artist's Way Online. I'm so glad I stopped by. I love your background and clean design! Nice. I especially enjoy your perspective on food and life! Unpretentious cafes and enjoying local place is my all time favorite way to relax with friends and indulge the sense. It truly excites me to see what people do with texture and flavor as their canvass and the various ways in which something is presented - editable art. It's true creative living! Thanks for posting your link and sharing. Acts like this sooo matter especially a artists. Cheers! Stephey
Thanks Stephey for stopping by and leaving a comment - I appreciate it. Are you still doing The Artist's Way? What have you gained from it?

Hi Kate, thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving your comment. That is a seriously tasty looking piece of Cake!!
Hi Kate! I'm Angie from canyouallhearmeattheback.blogspot.com. We're spending a week in Hampshire soon and I should think we'll find ourselves stuffing our faces as usual. Any suggestions?
Hi Angie - sorry, I haven't ever spent much time in Hampshire! We're quite a long way from there in Devon - the closest places I could recommend are www.townmillbakery.com in Lyme Regis (Dorset) and Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall's place River Cottage Local Food Store & Canteen - www.rivercottage.net which is in Axminster (Dorset / Devon borders). They both serve home cooked food at reasonable prices in relaxed environment and are damn tasty!
Definitely worth another visit for the pictures!
